Iran holds cultural festival in Spain

Madrid, Feb 12, IRNA – Iran held a cultural festival in Bilbao, the capital of northern Spanish province of Basque to mark the 35th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, said Iranian embassy in Madrid.

The festival which was welcomed and visited by a number of Spanish officials and citizens, included a Photo exhibition in which photos of Iran’s natural scenes and archeological sites taken by foreign tourists in the past four years were put on display.


In the opening ceremony, Iran’s Ambassador to Spain, Morteza Saffari Natanzi, referred to friendly ties between Iran and Basque province, inviting the people of this province to visit Iran and invest in the country.

A documentary film on Iran was also screened during the festival which was highly welcomed by visitors.
