Tehran, Feb 8, IRNA – An earthquake measuring 4.1 on Richter scale jolted surrounding area of Goharan in southern province of Hormozgan on Friday evening.
According to the report of seismography center affiliated to Tehran University Geophysics Institute, the tremor occurred at 23:13 hours local time (19:43 hours GMT).

The epicenter of the tremor registered at 26.69 degrees latitude and 57.65 degrees longitude and in depth of 7 kilometers underground.

There is no immediate report on possible casualties or damage.
