TEHRAN Feb 03 (Shana): Gas condensate exports rose over the past Iranian month of Dey, ended on January 20, against similar period last year.
Head of customs office of the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone (PSEEZ), Khodadad Rahimi, made the remarks adding during the mentioned month 878.631 thousand tons of gas condensate, worth more than 764 thousand dollars, were exported, up by 278 and 272 percent respectively in terms of weight and value.
He continued total exports stood at nearly 1.37 million tons which included heavy and light polyethylene, gas condensate, propane, butane, butadiene-1 and 3, polypropylene, , Styrene monomer, sulfur, mono- and di-ethylene glycol and raffinate, worth $1.233 billion, up by 48 percent and 81 percent respectively in terms of worth and value.
According to him, gas condensate made up 64 percent and 62 percent of the exports in terms of weight and value.
China, Japan, UAE, India, Indonesia, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Romania, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and Afghanistan were the main export destinations.
