Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev calls the withdrawal of the UN invitation to Iran to take part in the Geneva-2 conference unacceptable. The Syrian problem cannot be solved without Iran, he told CNN.

The situation when the world community or the UN sends an invitation only to subsequently withdraw it does not contribute to obtaining a result.
