Iran has achieved technology of making reactors for hydrogen production, Director of largest auto sheet production plant in Iran's Chahar Mahal & Bahtiari province, Firudin Hamidi said, IRIB News reported.
Hamidi said that foreign companies are able to produce hydrogen at 99,5 percent purity, while Iran has achieved production of hydrogen domestically up to 99,8 percent purity.
He added, that this technology was mastered by Iran about a month ago, and the Islamic Republic is world's second country after Italy to be able to make such reactors domestically.
Hamidi said that while abroad such production would cost some $2,6 million, in Iran it costs ten times less than that.
