Tehran, Jan 21, IRNA - Head of Iran?s Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA) Gholam Hossein Shafei stressed here Tuesday that Tehran and Beirut will witness an economic boom in near future.
In a meeting with Lebanese Ambassador to Tehran Fadi Haj Ali, he added that by
removing international obstacles, the two can boost bilateral cooperation in various fields.
Iran is ready to open a new chapter in its ties with Beirut, he said, adding that exchange of delegations can help achieve the objective.
For his part, Haj Ali said Lebanon and Iran have signed several agreements that have not been materialized yet, calling for implementation of those agreements.
Lebanon, he said, is ready to remove any obstacles to expansion of Beirut-Tehran relations.
At the end, he condoled the Iranian nation on November 19 explosions in front of Iran?s Embassy in Beirut that killed 25, including Iran?s cultural attaché to Lebanon, Hojjatoleslam Ebrahim Ansari and wounded over 150 others.
