Damascus, Jan 15, IRNA – Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in Damascus on Wednesday discussed regional and global developments with Syrian counterpart Walid al-Moallem.
Zarif was in Damascus as part of his regional tour which earlier took him to Lebanon, Iraq and Jordan.
In addition to bilateral ties, the two foreign ministers reviewed the political, economic and cultural issues as well as major regional and international developments.
The Geneva 2 Conference and the latest regional and international developments concerning the humanitarian crisis in Syria was among the most significant topics discussed by the two officials.
IRNA reporter in Damascus said that the two foreign ministers left Damascus for Moscow this evening.
