Nasim—Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif who left Tehran for a regional trip on Monday landed in Baghdad on Tuesday morning in order to hold meetings with senior Iraqi officials.
Zarif started his trip in Lebanon, meeting President Michel Suleiman, Parliament Speaker Nabih Beri, Prime Minister Tammam Salam and also his Lebanese counterpart, Adnan Mansour.
He is scheduled to visit Jordan and finally Moscow on Thursday, January 16 before coming back to Tehran.
