TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran's First Vice-President Eshaq Jahangiri extended his congratulations to the Libyan government and nation on the country's Independence Day anniversary.


In a Sunday message to Libyan Prime Minister Ali Zeidan, the senior Iranian official expressed hope that relying on serious efforts made by both countries’ officials in a bid to safeguard the Iranian and Libyan nation’s highest interests, we would witnesses further strengthening of the bilateral ties in all domains between Tehran and Tripoli.

Iran has in the past few years shown increasing willingness to expand ties and cooperation with Africa and offered to transfer experience and technology to several African states.
