Shahre-Ray, Tehran, Jan 8, IRNA – Six people including an official of the film-making industry were killed and 12 others injured in a strong explosion occurred during the back stage shooting of a film by Masoud Dehnamaki on Iran-Iraq war era on Wednesday.
The explosion occurred some 35 km south of Tehran along with Tehran-Qom Highway. The place is dedicated to make movies about the eight-year Iraqi imposed war aginst Iran.
Managing Director of the place Ali-Akbar Ranjbar as well as an official in charge of the movie’s special effects and a number of actors were among victims of the explosion, a local official told IRNA.
Several cars also caught fire in the explosion in the site of the shooting, said the official.
