TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian ambassador to Italy Jahanbakhsh Mozafari said Italian Prime Minister Enrico Letta will probably visit Iran.
"Over last few months, positive and constructive approach has been adopted by Italian Government. There have been meetings and visits by foreign ministers of the two countries, grounds have been provided for the development of ties between the two countries and we hope that we could witness exchange of high-ranking officials of the two countries," he told ISNA.
He further added Italian corporations and companies have been interested in reviving past economic activities with Iranian firms.
"Many Italian companies incurred loss following the US unilateral sanctions against Iran and the Italian gas, oil and business companies in public and private sectors have expressed their readiness for restarting cooperation with Iran following Geneva deal," he added.
