Tehran, Dec 29, IRNA – Iran?s Interior Ministry in cooperation with Foreign Ministry would follow up the case of some 70 Iranian nationals awaiting execution in Malaysia, Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli said Sunday.
Speaking on the sidelines of a local gathering here, Fazli said the Iranians are imprisoned in Malaysia for drug-related offenses.
He reiterated that the Foreign Ministry is officially in charge of pursuing the case and will seriously follow up the issue.
