16 Dec 2013 - 15:58

TEHRAN (FNA)- Oil exports have realized in accordance with budget targets since the beginning of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21, 2013), a deputy oil minister said.

Deputy Oil Minister for planning and supervision on hydrocarbon resources Mansour Moazzami told Shana that up to now oil revenues have overtaken the figures stipulated in current year’s budget.

"While budget law has fixed oil prices at 92 dollars per barrel but the average oil price has been 103 dollars so far, implying making more revenues in comparison to budget targets," he added.

"The Oil Ministry is ready to boost oil exports when sanctions are lifted.Moazammi criticized not only the U.S and European countries trying to hamper Iran’s oil exports but the neighboring countries that go along with them," he said.

Elsewhere in his remarks, he said that Geneva talks between Iran and six world powers will, certainly, influence Iran’s relations with international oil companies and states.“During the short period following Geneva deal struck late November, a number of political figures have travelled to Iran indicating their willingness to have ties with the Islamic Republic of Iran”, Moazzami noted.

"Given competitive advantage the country enjoys due to its vast oil and gas reserves, it is expected more investment opportunities to be created in the country," he said.
