Baku, Dec 11, IRNA – Iranian Ambassador to Baku Mohsen Pakayeen in a meeting with Azeri Defense Minister Zaker Hassanov, conveyed Iran’s Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan’s oral message to his Azeri counterpart.
Brigadier General Dehqan in his message underlined the need for consolidation of mutual cooperation between the two countries, and invited his Azeri counterpart to pay an official visit to Iran.

“During this meeting the Azeri defense minister the two sides discussed political and military conditions of the Nagorno-Kabakh region which is an issue of dispute between Azerbaijan and Armenia as well as the manner of expansion of bilateral ties,” Iranian Embassy’s Press Bureau said in a press release.
