Tehran, Dec 10, IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Marziyeh Afkham said here on Tuesday that the Iranian and Afghan presidents have signed an inclusive agreement on bilateral cooperation.
Making the remark during her weekly press briefing, she said during the recent visit to Tehran of the Afghan President Hamid Karzai, the two heads of state signed an inclusive agreement on political, security, economic, social and cultural cooperation.
The foreign ministries of the two countries have been assigned to work on the details of the agreement and its practical aspects, she added.
On presence of the Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in the parliament’s different committees, the spokesperson said the visits to Majlis help promote cooperation with the representatives of the nation based on the belief that establishing constructive interactions with the world requires enhancing domestic interaction first.
