MP: Iran gained precious bonuses from Geneva nuclear talks

5 Dec 2013 - 12:24

Shiraz, Dec 4, IRNA – In the text of the agreements reached in Geneva nuclear talks Iran gained very precious bonuses, a Member of the Iranian Parliament’s Energy Commission Nader Fereidouni said on Wednesday.
“Today, as a result of this initial agreement the Iranians inside and outside the country feel relaxed and the other countries’ viewpoints about our nation and our government, too, has been altered and the absolute feeling of mistrust has been eliminated,” He told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).

This member of the parliament’s Energy Commission said that on the one side of the negotiation table there were the top diplomats of six major world powers and on the other side the Islamic Republic of Iran’s foreign minister, and the goal was achieving a win-win deal.”

He said that the foreign impact of the world powers’ trust in Iran and its peaceful nuclear program was disheartening the monstrous beast of usurper Israel, whose troubles had began increasing after the Iranian presidential election.

The Energy Commission parliament member said that some 8 billion US dollars of Iran’s assets in the United States were released, half of which are goods and the rest is cash, and India has announced that it will pay the price of the oil it has bought from us in cash.

Fereidouni said that in the economic field immediately the gold and coin markets showed a decreasing fluctuation and the entire market was witness to price decrease accordingly.

He also referred to the heightened spirit of the Iranians inside the country and the people’s happiness upon the return of the Iranian diplomatic ambassador who was warmly received at the airport.

“Enrichment has not been suspended, and the nuclear activities in Fordo, Natanz, and Arak heavy water nuclear facility, and… have not been suspended. The achievements of this deal are approved by the people and its results will in the near future be seen in the shopping baskets of the people,” he said.

Fereidouni said that the third round of Geneva nuclear talks did not harm our nuclear objectives, but will have positive effects in terms inflation and employment.

On November 24, Iran and the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council -- the United States, Russia, France, China, and Britain -- plus Germany sealed an agreement to lay the groundwork for the full resolution of the West’s decade-old dispute with Iran over its nuclear energy program.

In exchange for Tehran’s confidence-building measure to limit certain aspects of its nuclear activities, the Sextet agreed to lift some of the existing sanctions against the Islamic Republic.
