Kabul, Dec 1, IRNA – Afghan Foreign Ministry spokesman Janan Mosazai said on Sunday that Iran, India and Afghanistan will sign an agreement for tripartite economic cooperation through Chabahar port in the near future.
Addressing his weekly press conference, Mosazai said Iran and Afghanistan were trying to further promote mutual cooperation.
He noted that Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif in a recent meeting with Caretaker of Afghan Foreign Ministry Zarar Ahmad Othmani had underlined the necessity of legalizing Afghan nationals’ visits to Iran.
He said more visas would be issued to Afghans visiting Iran.
He went on to say that in a separate meeting, Othmani and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani had underlined promotion of mutual cooperation.
