Tehran, Nov 25, IRNA – Speaker of the Iranian parliament (Majlis) Ali Larijani and his visiting counterpart Nabih Berri attended a joint press conference here Monday.
The Lebanese speaker, heading a high-ranking parliamentary delegation, is on a four-day visit to discuss major bilateral issues with senior Iranian officials.


Larijani referred to Lebanon as a friend of Iran, stressing the two capitals enjoy identical views on supporting the resistance movement and resolving regional problems.

Iran has always been friendly towards Arab Islamic countries despite efforts of certain states to sow discord between the two.
