TEHRAN (FNA)- Egyptian human rights groups condemned a new law restricting public protests.
The law, signed by the interim President Adly Mansour, bans protests without prior police notification, BBC reported.
Critics say the legislation is aimed mainly at supporters of the now-banned Muslim Brotherhood and ousted President Mohamed Mursi.
Thousands of pro-Mursi supporters gathered in Cairo and other cities Sunday.
