IME weekly trade volume grows by 36 percent

TEHRAN (ISNA)- 424,000 metric tons of various types of products was traded in Iranian Mercantile Exchange (IME) with the total value of 7,700 billion IRR ($308m) which shows growth of 36 and 41 percent respectively in total volume and value of the trades comparing its former week. 


According to the report from IME international affairs and PR, in the industrial trading floor of IME more than 282,000 MT of various types of products was traded with the total value of 5,000 billion IRR($200m). 275,000 MT Of steel products, 3,520 MT of copper, 2,340 MT of aluminum, 140 MT of Molybdenum and 300 MT of coke was traded in IME.

Based on this report 142,000 MT of various types of products with the total value of 2,836 billion IRR($113,440m) was traded in the petrochemical and oil related products in both local and export trading floors of IME. 36,000 MT of various types of products was traded with the total value of 502 billion IRR (2 million and 80 thousand dollars). 

During last trading week of IME, 39,000 MT of polymer products was traded with the total value 1,420 billion IRR(56 million and 800 thousanddollars).
