Geneva, Nov 9, IRNA – Deputy Foreign Minister in Europe and America Affairs described trilateral meeting of foreign ministers of Iran, Russia and EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton ?good?.

Majid Takht-e-Ravanchi told IRNA that Russia is an important member of Group 3+3 and meeting between Mr. Zarif and Mr. Lavrov and Mrs. Ashton was a good one.


Whether Russian can reduce differences in Geneva talks or not, the diplomat said that they consult with each other and Russia will present its viewpoints to them.

He added that the Russian viewpoints are closer to Iran.

Member of Iran’s negotiating team said that Russia can present its viewpoints to the Group 5+1, but the whether this viewpoint can help the total talks or not is not clear.
