31 Oct 2013 - 9:31

Tehran, Oct 31, IRNA – More than 70 Italian firms are planning to enter the Iranian market and this trend is also under planning in other European countries, a senior Iranian official announced on Wednesday.

“Since the start of nuclear talks between Iran and the Group 5+1 the approaches of the European countries towards Iran has been positive,” Director General of the Office for Commerce of European and American Countries in Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) said yesterday.

“There are more than 70 Italian companies planning for holding small exhibitions for their products in Iran …,” Abdolhamid Assadian added.

He underlined that tens of European companies are also interacting with Iran within the framework of chambers of commerce, calling it a positive incident.

Assadian said that sanctions have made the things difficult for exports, adding the production process is good inside Iran, but the country should move towards globalization.
