Iranian designs new catalyst, preventing carcinogenesis effects of wastewater

28 Oct 2013 - 11:08

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian researchers have manufactured a catalyst which prevents carcinogenic effects of industrial water waste.
The researchers have investigated the possibility of removing organic pollutants from water or industrial wastewater through designing a new catalyst.

It can be used for purification of wastewater industries made of nitro aniline compounds. The research aims at studying the possibility of removing organic pollutants from water or industrial wastewater by means of the catalyst.

The high potential of using organic compounds in different industries and their resistance against destruction or their change to products without pathogenic effects inflicts irreparable damage to human health, but results of this study can be used for different industries and organic compounds.

Results of the research have been published in Ceramics International Journal.
