TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A three-member delegation from the European Parliament is due to arrive in the Iranian capital Saturday, an adviser to the Iranian parliament speaker announced Friday.



“A three-member delegation comprised of the European Parliament’s socialist MPs will come to Tehran tomorrow,” Hossein Sheikholeslam told Tasnim News Agency on Friday.

The adviser also explained that the European lawmakers' visit to Iran will last for four days, during which they are scheduled to hold a couple of meetings with Iranian officials.

“During its stay, the (European) parliamentary delegation will visit the (Iranian) parliament speaker, head of the (parliament’s) national security (and foreign policy) commission, as well as the minister of foreign affairs,” Sheikholeslam added.
