Source reveals members of Iran’s team for Geneva talks

Nasim- An informed source close to Iran’s new team for nuclear talks with the G5+1 is headed by Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif.
The source also said that Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi will lead the representatives of the Islamic Republic of Iran during the talks.

The source, who demanded to remain anonymous, said that the talks, due on October 15-16 in Geneva, Switzerland, between Tehran and members of the P5+1 group will be began by an introductory meeting which Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif and EU Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton will be present there.

As the source said, after preliminary talks, the negotiations will continue by deputy foreign ministers of the two sides. Araghchi will lead Iran’s team in the second phase.

Deputy Foreign Minister for European and American Affairs Majid Takht-Ravanchi, nuclear scientist Shahram Amiri, Hamid Baeidi-Nejad and probably Morteza Kamalvandi will be other members of Tehran’s negotiating team during the talks.
