Baku. Shamil Alibeyli – APA. Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has sent a letter of congratulations to Ilham Aliyev on re-election as Azerbaijani President, Iranian Embassy in Azerbaijan told APA.
The letter says: “I sincerely congratulate You, your state and the Azerbaijani people on your election as President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. I hope that cooperation and friendly relations between Islamic Republic of Iran and Republic of Azerbaijan will further develop within the mutual respect and interests of the two peoples in the new period. I wish you robust health and success, happiness and well-being to the Azerbaijani state and people.”
