TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iran's cement output surpassed 38 million tons in the first 6 months of the Iranian calendar year (started on March 21), showing 4 percent rise comparing to the similar period last year, said secretary of Iranian Cement Industry Employers Abdolreza Sheikhan.
"Cement productions totaled 38.356.562 tons in the first 6 months of this year which demonstrates 4 percent growth comparing to the similar period last year," Sheikhan said.
He further added the country's cleaners output reached 37.510.119 tons over the 6 months with 5 percent growth comparing to the similar period in 2012.
According to Sheikhan, Iran's cement production hit 6.465.838 tons only in September. Iran also produced 6.226.361 tons of cleaners in the same months with 5 percent increase comparing to last September.
Also, 28.594.578 tons of cements were injected to the market during the 6 months.
