Tehran, Sept 12, IRNA - The United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Valerie Amos will visit the Islamic Republic of Iran from 13 to 16 September 2013.
According to the UN Information Center (UNIC) to Tehran, the mission is Ms. Amos’ first official visit to the country in her capacity as UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator.

USG Amos is expected to meet senior officials in Tehran and focus on expanding regional cooperation on humanitarian assistance and enhancing the partnership between Iran and the United Nations Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).
