Iran’s Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance has held a commemorating ceremony for the contemporary Iranian poet Abbas Kaymanesh, known as Moshfeq Kashani.
Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Mohammad Hosseini, Art Bureau Director Mohsen Momeni-Sharif and Director of Art and Cultural Organization of Tehran Municipality Amir Khorakian attended the ceremony that took place in Tehran’s Vahdat Hall on August 12, 2013.
The ceremony also hosted several Iranian poets like Mohammad Ali Bahmani and Ali Musavi Garmaroudi along with a number of literary scholars.
The poet Moshfeq Kashani expressed his gratitude to the officials and audience at the event.
Born in 1925 in Kashan, Moshfeq Kashani has numerous literary creations and experiences.
Red Spring of Song, Song of Life and Memories are among his better-known works.
