Iranian operators decline to remove BTS in schools

Iran's telecommunication companies have refused to remove Base Transceiver Station (BTS) from schools, despite requests from Education Ministrs officials, Fars news agency reported. The ministry has repeatedly requested their removal, citing harmful effects on pupil health.
Recently, Iranian deputy Minister of Education Ahmad Heydari submitted a letter to the Deputy Minister of Communication and Information Technology repeating the request. According to the report, complications such as frequent forgetfulness, fatigue, sleepiness, severe headaches and tremors have been reported.
