Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said Saturday that "Insistence of some bullying states on talks will not resolve the issues, but will result in imposing their will."

According to The Iran Project, The Leader of the Islamic Revolution holds such a meeting with government and military officials during the holy month of Ramadan each year.

At the start of his address to the gathering, the Leader said that "Western principles are against those Islamic ones."

He thanked the President Masoud Pezeshkian's administration for its efforts in tackling the people's problems.
"We cannot follow principles of Western civilization in political, economic and other matters," Ayatollah Khamenei stressed.

"The insistence on the part of some bully states on negotiations is not to resolve issues, but to dominate and impose their own expectations. The Islamic Republic of Iran will definitely not accept their expectations," the leader underscored about the US and Western countries call for talks on Iran's defensive powers.
