Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei has said that Iran will closely monitor the effects of Benjamin Netanyahu's trip to Washington on regional developments.

According to The Iran Project, Netanyahu's trip had been planned by the two sides, and Iran will focus on the issues of its concern, Baghaei said during a weekly press conference on Monday.

"We will carefully monitor these implications on developments in the region and Palestine," he added.

FM's trip to Kabul was a natural initiative

Baghaei also highlighted the historical, cultural, and religious commonalities between Iran and Afghanistan, noting that the two sides had discussed immigration, water rights, and security. He emphasized that Iran has paved the ground for repatriating illegal immigrants to their country.

"The international community's commitment in this regard is well-defined, and Iran wants these bodies to act within this framework," he reiterated.

Money transfer from Iran to Lebanon is a media hype

Baghaei termed the rumors about Iran's transfer of money to Lebanon as media hype promoted by the Israeli regime to prevent the reconstruction of Lebanon.
