A firefighting operation has been conducted as part of the Maritime Exercise “IMEX 2024” underway in Iran’s southern waters.
According to The Iran Project, maritime firefighting, search operations, and oil spill prevention, control, and countermeasures were part of the ongoing war game, said the IMEX 2024 spokesman, Rear Admiral Mostafa Tajeddini, on Sunday.
The IMEX 2024 composite naval exercise ended with the naval parade of the surface floating units participating in the exercise in front of Iranian Navy's 'Jamaran' destroyer.
According to IRNA's Defense Correspondent reporting from the Iranian Army, Rear Admiral Tajeddini said that the Joint Combined Naval Exercise IMEX 2024 ended by holding a parade of the participating units in front of the destroyer of the Islamic Republic of Iran "Jamaran" in the northern region of the Indian Ocean.
Representatives of Russia, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Pakistan, Qatar, Oman, Bangladesh and India, who were present at the Jamaran destroyer, closely watched the various stages of the exercise, he added.
