Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani denied the claim of presence of an Iranian military ma in Ukraine to train Russian forces as baseless.

According to The Iran Project, he once again emphasized the principled position of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding the opposition to war and the need to stop conflicts and peacefully resolve the differences between Russia and Ukraine.

"Such baseless claims are made with specific political goals and motives, and such accusations on the stance of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding the conflict in Ukraine are contradictory.
