Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has appointed Abdolkarim Hosseinzadeh, a Sunni politician, as his deputy president for rural development.
According to The Iran Project, Pezeshkian made the appointment due to Hosseinzadeh's valuable experience in the field.
Hosseinzadeh, who is a reformist politician, was a member of the Iranian Parliament from the Naqadeh and Oshnavieh electoral districts in the West Azerbaijan province.
