Iran’s Defense Minister Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Gharaei Ashtiani has left Tehran for Astana to attend a meeting of defense ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
According to The Iran Project,Brigadier General Ashtiani left Tehran for the Kazakh capital, Astana, on Thursday.
Ashtiani is set to deliver a speech at the SCO meeting and engage in discussions with the ministers in attendance.
The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) is an intergovernmental Eurasian organization established to promote multilateral security, economic, and political cooperation.
