Iran national men's futsal team head coach has announced his 14-man team for the 2024 AFC Futsal Asian Cup.

According to The Iran Project,Team Melli have been drawn in Group D along with Kuwait, Afghanistan and Bahrain, Tehran Times reported. 

The Persians will commence the competition on April 18 against Afghanistan.

Sixteen teams will be vying for the AFC Futsal Asian Cup Thailand 2024 title when the 17th edition kicks off in Bangkok, Thailand on April 17.

Japan are the defending champions while the Iran will be seeking a 13th title with the teams the only sides to have emerged champions in the history of the tournament.

Iran’s nominated team members are: Bagher Mohammadi, Saeid Momeni, Ali Khalilvand, Alireza Rafieipour, Mohammadhossein Derakhshani, Mohammadreza Sangsefidi, Aliasghar Hassanzadeh, Moslem Oladghobad, Saeid Ahmad Abbasi, Salar Aghapour, Mehdi Karimi, Ali Akrami, Masoud Yousef, Behrouz Azimi.
