Iranian female table tennis player Neda Shahsavari was defeated by an Italian opponent in the 2024 World Table Tennis Feeder series underway in the Czech Republic.

According to The Iran Project,Shahsavari was eliminated from the tournament after being defeated by her Italian opponent Nikoleta Stefanova 2-3 in the third round of the preliminary stage.

Despite all her attempts, Shahsavari, who is currently ranked 394th in the world, could not defeat her rival who ranks 237th in the world.

Other Iranian players, including Mahshid Ashtari and Navid Shams, are representing Iran in the ongoing 2024 WTT Feeder sporting event, which is taking place at the National Training Centre Havirov in the Czech Republic from April 14-17.
