Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani pointed out the false self-conceit of American statesmen and emphasized that Iranians know their friends and enemies very well and are aware of the evil intentions behind these false and ridiculous shows.

According to The Iran Project, "For more than four decades, American statesmen have been increasing their maximum and all-round pressure against the noble nation of Iran by spreading Haftsin tables on the eve of Nowruz Eid and sending Newruz congratulatory messages. For Iranians, their year is an increase or new sanctions," Kanaani said.

Kanaani added that Iranians know their friends and enemies very well and are aware of the evil intentions behind these false and ridiculous shows. 

"The slogan of the year set by the Supreme Leader - 'Production Leap with People's Participation' - is the roadmap of the government and the nation in the field of economy, so that with its maximum realization, the blunt blade of the cruel American sanctions will be broken and brighter horizons will be opened for the great nation of Iran," he added.
