Iran’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office and other International Organizations in Geneva, Ali Bahreini, has presided over the 350th session of the Governing Body of the International Labour Organization (ILO).
According to The Iran Project,As many as 187 delegates have participated in the 350th session of the Governing Body of the ILO which was held in Geneva, Switzerland, IRNA reported on Saturday.
During this period, the Islamic Republic presides over the Governing Body and coordinates the Asia-Pacific group of the ILO.
This round of meetings, which is to be held until March 14, will address the rulebook of the Organization, the issues related to the standard activities of the ILO and measures related to the protection of human rights.
The ILO is a United Nations agency with a mandate to promote social justice and decent work by setting international labor standards.
