Outstanding Iranian scientist and scholar Fathollah Moztarzadeh has passed away at the age of 77 in the Iranian capital Tehran.
According to The Iran Project,Moztarzadeh was a permanent member of the Academy of Sciences of the Islamic Republic of Iran and a professor at the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the Amirkabir University of Technology.
He was the former head of the Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology, one of the winners of the Iranian Everlasting Figures Conference in the field of chemical engineering, and the winner of the Order of Islamic Republic for research.
Moztarzadeh was also one of Iran’s top researchers, the winner of the Eco international award in natural sciences, and received the third-class state award for research.
Iranian Minister of Science, Research and Technology Mohammad Ali Zolfigol in a message expressed condolences on the passing of the prominent Iranian scientist.
