Iranian veteran voice actor Parviz Rabiei died of heart failure at his home in Tehran on Saturday night. He was 84.
According to The Iran Project,Born in 1939, Rabiei had a long-standing career in dubbing spanning over four decades, portraying a diverse array of characters.
Among his notable works are his dubbing for Steve McQueen in "The Great Escape" and his contributions to the film "The Magnificent Seven," as well as the television series "Prison Break."
Rabiei was also known for his voice work in children's animated movies and series.
Additionally, he lent his voice to projects such as "A Man for All Seasons," "Romeo and Juliet," "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid," and "The Network."
Since 1989, Rabiei has served as a radio presenter on the popular radio comedy program “Friday Morning with You.”
