Iran’s men's national table tennis team has defeated Thailand at the ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals underway in Busan, South Korea.

According to The Iran Project,Iran's team, featuring Noshad Alamian, Nima Alamian, and Amir-Hossein Hodaei could beat their Thai rivals 3-0 in the first match of the sporting event.

Iran is drawn in the group stage along with Romania, Egypt, Portugal, and Thailand.

The ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals is underway in Busan, South Korea from February 16-25, 2024.
