Iran's National Football team, better known as Team Melli, is scheduled to prepare for the upcoming match against Syria without the presence of Media members.

According to The Iran Project,Iran's national football team coach Amir Ghalenoei made the decision considering the importance of the match against Syria.

Iran will face Syria on Wednesday at the AFC Asian Cup underway in Qatar.

Last week, Iran beat United Arab Emirates 2-1 in the last match of the Asian Cup group stage.

The Iranian team has already qualified for the next knockout stage by gaining two wins against Palestine and Hong Kong in their group.
