Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian has held a meeting with his Malaysian counterpart Mohamad Hassan in New York.
According to The Iran Project,Amirabdollahian has earlier met with his French counterpart, Stéphane Séjourné.
The top diplomat is in New York to attend a United Nations Security Council (UNSC) meeting on the situation in the Middle East.
France, which is one of the five permanent members of the UNSC and holds the rotating presidency of the 15-member UN body, has invited foreign ministers of Iran and other countries to assess the situation in the Middle East, Palestine in particular.
