The head of the Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology has announced the establishment of the National Center for Technology Assessment, Research and Development in this organization.
According to The Iran Project, Hassan Zamaniyan made the announcement at the honoring ceremony of selected researchers, technologists and innovators of the Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology.
The commemoration ceremony was held on the occasion of Research and Technology Week with Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini, Deputy of Presidential Parliamentary Affairs, in attendance.
Referring to the establishment of two research institutes for medicinal chemistry and exploration and processing of strategic elements, Zamaniyan said, “Obtaining permission to set up two new research institutes was a very difficult task in the country's current conditions, which was done in the Scientific and Industrial Research Organization of Iran.”
In this condition, the National Center for Technology Assessment and Research and Development has also been established in the organization, he added.
Expanding cooperation with the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Defense, and the Headquarters of the Armed Forces is also on the agenda of the Scientific and Industrial Research Organization of Iran, the official underscored.
Regarding the "Nan" system, he stated that there is a gap between the industry and the university, and to connect these two parts, the system of ideas and needs (Nan) has been launched.
