Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian has called for continued negotiations between Iranian and Chinese governing bodies as well as parties and think tanks in order to enhance mutual understanding, and stressed the importance of boosting cooperation between the two countries.
According to The Iran Project,The top Iranian diplomat was speaking on Wednesday during a meeting with Head of the International Liaison Department of the Chinese Communist Party Liu Jianchao in Tehran.
The Chinese official also said that boosting bilateral cooperation in tourism and media sectors along with cooperation between the people of both countries and their elites help further enhance all-out cooperation within the 25-year comprehensive plan by the two countries.
Amirabdollahian and the Chinese official also discussed other issues of mutual interest as well as developments in Afghanistan and Gaza.
Liu Jianchao and his accompanying delegation are on a two-day visit to Tehran at the official invitation of Iran’s Expediency Council.
