Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran Ali Akbar Ahmadian has called for international efforts to stop the Zionist regime’s war machine which is killing oppressed Palestinian people.

According to The Iran Project,Ahmadian met and held talks with Head of the International Liaison Department of the Chinese Communist Party Liu Jianchao in the Iranian capital city of Tehran on Wednesday.

Referring to the deep-rooted ties between Iran and China, Ahmadian emphasized bolstering comprehensive political, economic, and commercial relations through a 25-year strategic agreement between the two countries.

He thanked the positive role of the Chinese government in the UN Security Council and its support for the oppressed Palestinian people, noting that comprehensive international efforts must stop the Zionist war machine.

Liu Jianchao, for his part, pointed to Iran's role as a bridge between East and West and an important part of the One Belt One Road mega-project, announcing China's readiness to develop cooperation in the framework of the 25-year strategic agreement between the two countries.

Thanking the role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in securing regional peace and stability, he added that China supports Iran's policies to establish lasting security in the region

Explaining the interventionist measures and the negative role of the US in different regions of the world, he stressed joint cooperation to counter American unilateralism.
