The CEO of the Mining and Metals Development Investment Company said that the company has invested three billion dollars in 61 mining and metal projects, which is a growing investment trend.
According to The Iran Project Ardeshir Saad Mohammadi made the remarks in a press conference on Monday.
We will also invest 2 million tons of new concentrate, he stated.
He added that the Mining and Metals Development Investment Company was a financial institution in the past, which has now entered into direct investment, that has taken action to implement projects.
Last year, the profit of this company was 391 million dollars, which is supposed to reach 1 billion dollars by 2028 with the implementation of programs; Because every plan that enters an operational stage would lead to profitability, he added.
The CEO further asserted that the amount of net profit of this company has been growing in the last five years, which shows the economic view of this company towards projects.
Referring to the investment of this company in the capital market, he said, “The market value was 168 billion tomans last day and the net value of assets is more than 190 billion tomans. We were able to pay dividends to small shareholders this summer.”
Touching upon the total investments made in the projects, he noted that the total investment until the end of 2022 was about 588 billion tomans.
