The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman has described the fresh green light to Tel Aviv to resume attacks on Gaza as a big mistake made by Washington as it unmasked the US's true image of support for human rights.
According to The Iran project The attacks have been resumed after a week-long truce to add to the list of crimes in Gaza, Nasser Kanaani made the remarks through a post on his page on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Saturday.
As Kanaani wrote, 200 martyrs and 600 wounded are the outcome of the Zionist regime’s brutal attacks on Gaza in the past 24 hours.
The attacks which have been re-started after the US green light will add up to killing of over 16,000 Palestinians during the past 48 days, he added.
Palestinian Resistance movement (Hamas) and the Zionist regime had agreed on a ceasefire a week ago since the October 7 Al Aqsa Storm operation, but the regime forces resumed their attacks on the Gazans after the end of a week-long truce.
